About Us

Castle Hill Partners (CHP) is a private investment firm which invests in commercial properties and related debt instruments that provide opportunity for repositioning and resolution. CHP has a deeply established history in the fields of complex legal and financial resolutions, property operations and commercial real estate development. The firm performs internally all functions related to its investment activities including construction, loan servicing and property management. Each principal of the firm has over twenty-five years experience in his respective area of expertise.

The firm invests directly for its own account and participated in the past in joint ventures with existing property owners, lenders and the US Federal Government. CHP typically funds its investments on a non-leveraged basis and requires no financing contingencies.

The firm’s investment strategy is centered around the opportunity to add value and resolve property and debt related issues. Individual transaction size is generally $20 MM and greater. Geographic focus is the Continental US and Hawaii.

Background

Castle Hill Partners is managed and owned by principals whom have spent their professional careers in property development, operations and financial workouts. The firm has collectively acquired and developed over 6 Million square feet of Office and Industrial space, over 15,000 units of Multifamily, and more than 35,000 acres of Commercial and Residential Land.

The firm has an extensive history in bankruptcy resolution, financial restructure and administration of CRE debt. Castle Hill Partners has acquired over $1B in performing and non-performing debt instruments as well as originated and issued over $1B in structured finance. Geographic distribution of debt and property assets cover forty-two States in the Continental US and Hawaii.

During the past twenty years, CHP has been capitalized by top US Institutional Investors, including most of the major Wall Street Investment Banking firms. Investment activity in distressed debt dates to the early 1990’s during the US Savings & Loan crisis.
